Go to Steam -> Click on Help -> Click on System Information -> Cut and paste the info here please (yes, all of it).
its the download, wait till all the servers are up and runnning before you try to enter

I'm having memory problems crashing with the following: "out of video memory trying to allocate a texture". What is odd to me is that it specifically mentions "Thanksgiving" files from the H: drive (which I do not have) just like the above error although OP's error and mine are different. Ark may somehow be dynamically calling a virtual drive for it's resources (I don't know). My error is kind of similar to the above. I am running no mods in single player and here are my specs:

Additional Info: I was playing on SE just fine for about 4 hours and then transferred over to a base on Valguero.. killed a giga and some rexes and then started getting the memory error no matter what I did.

If your error codes are different more than likely so is the cause. Post up your own thread with the full error log and the info above.

Also the drive paths are those on the PC used to compile ark. Not your own computer. The information is intended for debugging by the dev not end users.

1. Driver Date: 7 24 2019 Your graphics card driver is 4 months out of date with many updates missed. You did -not- update your drivers as you state you had. Please use nvidia's Geforce Experience to get the proper driver download.

2. Being that you're using a 960 card, make sure that you are playing in the settings that are appropriate for the limitations of your older card. Nvidia Geforce Experience can detail what is the recommended settings under "normal" conditions. So if you are playing in urban base sprawl and mall sized dino lots, higher wild dino counts, and especially if using modded content, you'll need to actually adjust even farther down your graphic settings in game.

3. If you are also using modded content, please list ALL mods by name. All manner of issues can come from mods.

4. If you are using graphic enhancers, msi after burner and or overclocking, dont. Those too can cause crashes and other issues.
