Great base locations for PVP Ragnarok

Alright! I play on a unofficial PvP server thats almost brand new. I want a base that has access too water dinos and a good source of Metal like... I dunno. Five minutes away max. I dont mind trekking far with a carrying dino.

Any base that could host mosa's and squids and all of those water dinos, but also have enough land for land dinos. If I can, A cliff is fine with the ziplines or elevators so that would work as well as I can just take an elevator down to the water dino section.


Any ideas? I was thinking maybe the desert. Theres this "river" that goes all the way down to the coast but love ideas!


Swamp maybe? Dont really wanna go to the beach in viking bay. Was thinking the south side of the map or the far east.

Anyone know anythign about Slosher Slope? Looking at all the locations of the map around the coast.

Slosher slope, If I remember correctly is a big open slope, you get plenty of the big herbivores (bronto, stegg and also anky and doed. Theris are further up). You also get plenty of raptors and rexes.
There's a flat spot up the slope where there are some pools of water.

Best I can suggest, jump into SP and spawn in a flyer to take a look.

Where is this cave exactly? How do I find it I mean.

I am going to do that. I need a good place for PvP purposes and for water dinos. Dont want multi bases cause thats just a pain in the butt.

Hidden metal cave is hidden. You have to clear the rocks. It just north of the inlet to the canyon.

It's well known, so not great for PvP.

Ah I looked it up. Suppposedly you cant build in there at all. I'll just fly around and look for something along the coast somewhere. Im thinking the desert but I have to make sure its a good water pen place.

There is a Huge cave underneath the lighthouse that can host a ton of water dinos and if you want to build on the cliffs in there or with cliff platforms that would work. You could also build up near the lighthouse and like you said use a zipline down to the coast where the ocean and that cave are.

The lighthouse is in the Highlands not to far from the wyvern trench. There is also a farm nearby that has some available crops you can farm by hand. Sheep are plentiful in the highlands and there are beached whales on the shore nearby that give spoiled meat as well as keratin.

What about the plentiful gigas that just love to roam there?

Or is it safe around the LH?

You wouldn't want to build inside, you want to keep the metal spawns.

Its safe around the Lighthouse..they spawn more towards the big spire rocks.
