Rare Dino Stats?

So I noticed something very interesting on a Pteranodon that I tamed (since deceased) vs the last three that I have tamed, that increasing the stamina on the latter increased stamina by 30.

The deceased Pteranodon when I increased its stamina by one point it was increasing around 33.3%, over the standard flat 30 each time. Are there rare stats on some dinos? Or do some dinos have a natural strength in one stat area?

I couldn't find anything about this just lots of posts on the Dodorex calculator, and wonder have any of you lot found this to be the case on any of your dinos?

I didn't say it goes from 1 to +99 to 100. I was saying the following. Imagine you get two dinos.

The first is -

Tamed at level 75 (+25) after taming - final level = 100....

The second -

Tamed at level 1 and raised to level 100...

Which would have the higher stats and has anyone even done a comparison. Not to 100 just level 30 or so?

And by the way the example above is hypothetical to get at a point,

What? So you are saying that if you got a dino at level 100 and it tamed at 150, but you get one fresh at level 1 you cannot get the level 1 to level 150?

Yes, seriously. That is how levels in Ark work. Don't tame low levels.

Yes, there is a fixed, flat number of times a tamed dino can level up. Currently it's 64 or 66.

You are partially right, though. A tamed level 100 who was tamed at 1 will be stronger than a wild 100, simply because his stats were leveled up with reason and not by chance. BUT: that wild level 100 can level up the same amount of times like the tamed level 1, and due to his higher base stats will be outrageously more powerful.

It doesn't make any sense, but that's how Ark is. It's the reason why people always want to tame max level wild dinos.
