Yeah, currently almost any tree can get your dinos stuck in the swamp cave.

Some people say they have succeeded rescuing their dinos by placing various structures under and around the tree.

If your dino is stuck in the tree and also close to water you can rescue it by placing a raft in there (maybe put some structures on as well) and push your dino with the raft. This worked a bunch of times for me.

Great idea! Will try tomorrow assuming the wolf makes it

If you can reach it, try setting it on agressive and wander. I don't know if this works in a cave/tree scenario, but I've unstuck an Icthy like that before. :) just another thing you could try if all else fails.
