Vendor or shops in Ark?

Quick question. I thought I read that vendors or shop keepers were going to be implemented with the Scorched Earth DLC. Is this true and if so, how does one use vendors/shopkeepers? I may have simply read someones post who mentioned the topic of player vendors, but I am pretty sure I saw it on some official post, or feature list.

If anyone has any info, please let me know.

There are no npc's in this game. And none have ever been announced. Not sure what you are thinking of.

Yeah we dont need that in the game. As it is unoffical servers have nerfed the game down to nothing in terms of survival. Being able to buy things in this game would not fit at all. I also have never heard anything like this before. Perhaps if you ask a couple of the big mod makers they could come up with something.
Now you could be thinking of 7 Days To Die. Their A15 just hit and introduced traders.

I was pretty sure what I read was for Scorched earth. I don't mind that there aren't any vendors. I thought if it existed it was for role play type servers where you have towns and such made by players. Either way, Ark is still a lot of fun and I'll just continue to make my own gear. :)

It's more players that bring back SE items and exchange with local tribe.
Also tribes that tames wyverns and sell them for real money on officials.
