How do I make wild dinos drain hunger faster without impacting tamed dino hunger drain?
I want to make taming go faster, but not to end up using 1 raw meat to tame a dino. I want to change the hunger drain of wild dinos, not the taming per bite of food. Thought of setting the wild dino food multiplier to zero, but I'm worried that dinos would instantly die from starvation. I could use the hunger drain slider for all dinos, as long as there is a way to increase hunger filled by a bite of food for tamed dinos (I don't want to constantly manage my tames' food). Please do not recommend any 'hunger drain food item' mods. I would accept a mod, a setting, or a game.ini setting that allows me to wait less between feeding intervals. It is best if the time between intervals is customizable.

Whats your taming speed set at???
would be less if hunger went down faster
im just sayin that the only way for taming to go quickly is to set it to a really high number. food is so annoying.

add

WildDinoCharacterFoodDrainMultiplier=2 to the game file. wild dinos food goes down faster. up the number to increase how fast their food drains. does not affect your tames.

I'm not clear about why exactly a higher taming speed would not accomplish the same thing? Or to be more specific, why it is preferable to alter food drain for wild dinos instead?

Edited Note: It just occurred to me that making kibble is tedious in the normal game, which begins with the tedium of manually collecting poop and dino eggs.

The Structures Plus mod can help with that, with its Item Collector, which automatically picks up unfertilized eggs and poop.

Unfortunately, it requires Propellant or a Tek Generator to power it. Propellant requires cactus sap and sulfur to make, neither of which is available on the Island, as far as I know (although both can be found on other maps.) Once you can make an S+ industrial grinder, you can convert poop to sulfur and sap to cactus sap, but the grinder itself requires a lot of resources to make.

Food train is preferable to tame speed because tame speed uses less resources, and feels like cheating when I set it too high.

Which game settings?
I added it to game.ini and it doesn't work.

I consider that the question still wasn't answered, thus not worth making another thread for it.

as has been said a large number of times, necroing threads is a no no on this forum

Then I find it dumb because why make another thread if the original wasn't even answered? That's common sense.

Also, where has this been said?
Looking at many thread I'm only seeing you spamming that. Are you just there to spam this without actually helping or is there an actual rule on the forum?

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
