How to turn off VR?
I searched this forum, official forums and found no info on quite simple issue:
How do I turn off VR mode? I don't want to play it in VR, I don't want Oculus to launch every single time!
Anyone knows?

There might be a launch parameter to add to the client to keep it from happening, but I don't know for sure.

I want the answer to this as well, it's annoying having to close the oculus home screen everytime I launch Ark, especially since the VR support in this game is garbage and basically useless anyway.

Launch parameter from a quick Google search, I cannot confirm.

If I remember correctly, I disabled the Oculus Home screen from starting up every time I booted Ark by finding the following file:

C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-client\OculusClient.exe

...Right-clicking it, going to Properties, then Compatibility tab, and ticking the box for 'Run this program as administrator'. Because Ark doesn't have admin privileges it won't be able to auto-start the Oculus program. It'll probably stop other games from auto-starting it as well so it might be worth making a desktop shortcut for OculusClient.exe if you don't already have one ;)

[Edit: Forgot to mention clicking on Properties!]

Seems to work as a Workaround. Just installed and started ark after a while and have the Problem with Oculus too.
