problems using ark commander

i need help with the ark commander. every time i try and bring up the ark commander while in game . instead of switching to the ark commander it brings me to the exit menu then if i press the button again it tabs me out of game and to the ark commander. and if i try and use any commands it wont go thou . like if i try to use the fly command it wont active? help any one knows how to fix it???? i even looked through my keyboard settings ???? help

i am on the discord and i already ask the ? but so for i have had no luck . even a admin tryd to help me but so far its a no go on it working

You've asked the wrong admin then :/

which window mode are you running ARK as? full screen, border less or windowed?

I had the let Ark Commander run as an Admin to get it to pass info to Ark.

i have to run it in windowed mode and yes i am running it in admin

if you run ARK in borderless window mode, overlay should work as intended.
