Nope lol
High level Drake is born with 4-5 hours of food in its belly so there is no need to farm venom before hatching or immediately after hatching contrary to what the wiki implies.
A baby eats 337 food an hour (easy to test in game). Venom restores 400 food so the math is very easy. The food consumption drops off quite a bit as they mature. Haven't tested this but I err on the side of caution and assume baby food consumption rate throughout.
You don't have to keep batches in it's inventory. Usually I will wait until it has an hour of food left (food stat on dino is showing 337) and then go farm a bunch of venom. Once fed I will work out how many hours until starved and set an alarm to farm venom 1 hour before starvation. There is also a buffer here because it will consume at least 1 unused vial in its inventory prior to the venom expiring.
With a high level drake I usually do 3 venom runs on day 1, 2 on day 2, 1 on day 3 and that's it. No more runs until maturity.
Venom isn't rare either. It will take about 20 mins to go out, farm and return with all the venom you need. I have farmed venom with ravager, megalo, crab, spino and drake so you have many options.
Don't raise low levels, it makes things much harder as they have lower food stats so need more frequent feeding and low levels are useless anyways.
Yes its all they eat (and can be used for care) while they are maturing.
If you have an S+ Fridge it will last a long time, mine lasts about 2 days with a 1.5X rate.
If you are playing official, I would plan to go on more than 1 trip to fetch venom.
I think I used 6-7 or so on mine, keeping its food supply well up.

Hate to be a buzz kill but generally you answer the question with reference to original game design or otherwise state you are playing a modded game.
Both the nanny and baby drakes eating meat are mods to the original game. Perfectly fine but at least disclose this because otherwise you confuse readers who may think baby drakes eat meat, which they dont.
You still need the venom for the food value but as others pointed out, it's not a big deal to get.

Looking at the title of the thread reveals the topic is rock drake raising so yes it's wrong to suggest they eat meat at any stage throughout the raising process. If someone uses a mod to allow them to eat meat then disclose it.
