Best way to get wyvern milk on official?

Are you killing alphas? o_O
Isn't it easier to knock out the female wyvern, milk it, wait 1H, milk again etc

I'm used to unofficial, didn't know that. So you trap them, knock them out with tranq darts/long neck, Keep her knocked out and each hour she'll have more milk in her inventory?

Also, do you wait until you're raising a baby to do this since milk expires quickly?

I'm playing only on single and I didn't raise babies yet :D
I have been doing random stuff and I have found the info about milking here

Actually I screwed a little, there it says about knocking again the same wyvern (I was too lazy to wait 1H on single that caused my mistake)

I'd hunt low level female wyverns, tranq them until they fall unconscious and then take away their milk from inventory

arrows, tranq-darts, the higher tier tranq-darts, tranq-spears... whatever you like.

Build a wyvern trap with a long comb(go to youtube and you'll see what Im talking about.

Steal an egg, then fly through the trap/comb. Kill the males, tranq then kill females(since once tranq'd even ifyou kill them, they'll drop milk in their bag/carcass inventory). If you lured too many wyverns you have to do it this way because you cant get to nor keep tranq'd multiple females at the same ime really. So you just do em 1 at a time.

Another way to help facilitate this is where you have your comb/trap set up that you have a set of turrets as well. To help kill ones you got ko'd and the males etc.

just shooting shocking tranq darts from back of a griffin can work well against poison and ice wyverns you can dodge the breath from poison pretty easily and the breath from ice wyvern doesnt do to much damage i'd only try it against really low level fire or lightning wyverns though

normaly best to wait tell your almost about to hatch to be honest and pick up and store the egg, while you go nock out the mother or kill an alpha, (if your gunna go for non killing the alpha the amount of milk dosent change regardless of what level female wyvern you trank so try to aim for a low level one.

the milk drop dosnt change for the alpha eather the alpha drops 50 always, and deppending on your serverates that do you more then one maybe 3 wyerns babbies.

i would use a griffen to kite the female wyern to be honest they seem to have both the health and the speed to walk away from them + you dont need to land to tag a female with your longneck /crossbow.
