Decay period

Hi. I'm playing unofficial but want to go over too PvE official. But I am not sure how the decay period works.

1. What are the decay period for structures?
2. What are the decay period for dinos?

I read about the new config that destroys claimable dinos on PvE because of decay, during load. I would like to have the option to go on a 7-14 days vacation during holidays, and not loose everything because ark "force" a daily login to keep everything.

I am a solo player and would like to stay that way. I want official because of traveling between arks/maps and abillity to trade with others, and maybe one time try and finish the ark story without increased speeds and mods.

if you are planing official then you can't have vacations,.. unless you have friends in your same tribe and they can join while you are in the beach.

The decay time in official is the next:
Thatch - 4 days
greenhouse - 5 days
----> Dinos - 8 days
Wood - 8 days
Stone - 12 days
Metal - 16 days
Tek - 20 days

(Then technically the limit is 8 days because is when your dinos just dissapear if nobody is near to claim them and im sure nobody want a tek base with 20 days in decay without dinos)

Thats no a good idea in official servers, they dissapear in 24 hours

Do you have to be within proximity of the buildings to reset the timer or just log into the server and log off?

You need to be in range, just logging on will only refresh the timers up to so many foundations while the rest will auto distruct
