Taming Sinomacrops
I have been trying to tame the Sinomacrops with no luck. I have tried the tips from different videos to no avail. I track them on the tracking system and more often than not watch them fly away. I have stared at them with the notice "Wait till they are hungry to feed.", I may get two or three feedings in before the taming seems to break. I am on the Xbox. Is there still an issue trying to tame them on the Xbox? If not how do you tame them. I am struggling to do so.

There is a youtube video on taming them with a cage, though I can't remember who by. This is the method I used.

They have fixed this - I could not get it to work. There is another video on taming them with some torches and a sign. I heard this does not work anymore either. The update from last week is supposed to have nerfed those taming options.

The only other thing I can tell you is that I found a lot of them in a canyon in the desert biome. I caught them at the end of the canyon where there was nowhere else for them to go. I tamed several there.

Yeah, they patched it. Try to use ghillie armor if you have it. Stay around 40m away from them, and move slowly, crouch. If you spook them, they take off. Really the hard part is dealing with other dinos. I found the best spot is the big trench in the south, north of the ocean, about the center of the map. Also don’t have any takes too close.

Ghillie makes it harder to find you for the Sino.

I had decent luck leading them into the back of a canyon in the desert. They get stuck in the rocks but keep coming back to you.
