Mod for better animal follow?
Is there a fix or a mod that lets your animals clip through things or teleport behind you? It's such an endless pain in the Ark to have to constantly go back 50x to retrieve your animals from every nook and cranny they've fallen into.

Really great recommendation. Thank you! It's actually very fun.

Happy to help - hopefully Ark2 has better pathing so issues like this don't exist in the first place

I can't imagine buying any more Arks tbh. I'm really disappointed with so many elements in the 3 I've tried. I feel they've been a waste of money. I especially regret buying Abberation, but Scorched Earth has been a real stinker too.

To each their own, I've enjoyed all DLCs and think they're worth it - Aberration specifically as its my favorite

But theres plenty of Free maps, and Workshop maps available if you want a change in scenery

LOL seriously? For me Aberration was a rip off. They just reused most of the creatures and called them "Aberrant". Kind of a waste of money for me. I thought it would be really different and unique. I think Ark could stand a lot of improvement. I think some of the changes they made have made it a lot less fun and immersive. At least for me.

Hm, doesnt Ab have the MOST unique creatures of any DLC? Like including the light pets?

Ab is definitely one of the more popular DLCs if not THE most popular. Certainly my favorite although I do love SE. Pity no bosses.

I mean Abberation. I know there are some add-ons but the things like Ravagers just ruined the immersion for me. I would die every five seconds and lose anything I tamed. Most of the animals are just remakes of what is already in the game. I thought it would be a completely alien Ark and it was just a money grab imo. Scorched Earth seems to have a very small map and I think I've gone around it about 6 times in the 4 days since starting it. Getting into the caverns doesn't make any difference in the heat. It doesn't seem very immersive. Freezing one second and boiling the next is kind of over the top for me. I started Ark when it first came out in EA and I liked it a bit more. You could trick animals into attacking each other. That's a lot harder to do since they made most of them clip through. Ark has gotten progressively-less immersive for me. It seems the only real goal is to collect as many animals as possible and use them to kill everything else. Breeding is a nightmare and I never get into it. It's much easier to just tame animals. I was always hoping the crafting would remain more survival-basic, not "keyless remote entry for your new smart home" lol. I wish you could make armors for the animals too. It's really dumb that my vulture can take a bunch of hits because he has a lot of health, but my armored thorny dragon gets killed with just a few more. You'd think things like armored scales vs. feathers would matter. I could kill the vulture with my bare hands but in Ark, that doesn't matter. Then you add in stupid animal powers like Daedons, which really make no sense, and the immersion goes out the window for me.

Just my thoughts. I'm sure everyone's opinion is different. I'm really glad for this mod because it helps the enjoyment somewhat.
