PS4 Lost Island

Just saying. It's impossible to play lost Island on PS4.
The map load and freeze 10 secondes every 100 meters of distance. It's unplayable.

i report it here as it's impossible on Console PS4.

it's not a server problem.
i dont play online and i can't even if i would as i dont own PS+.
It's the game that have serious problem loading the map while playing. I even have some forward/backward moving glitch while playing.

and i am a person who play the game talking with others people playing the game... i just dont own it on Steam, i play it on console and as i mentionned, there is no way toreport on PS4, only automatic report when game crash completly.

i check ark forum, but i still post it here, just in case someone else got similar troubles here.

you'r aware that it's the exact same game, right?

so yes, someone on pc could have the exact same problem as me.
the only difference between pc and console is that the event is earlier on pc and so shorter on console, all the rest is identical.

i play it all map from scorched earth to genesis and else all fine extremly smooth.
only this map have this problem.
i got an update and it seems tob e better now, it still have some LOD that dissapear a bit late, but it's way better.

ark ain't that terrible to run on PS4, it require less power as the graphisms and else are lower than Pc with their high HD and 8K stuff whatever...

PS4 pro can run every game a pc can, including the witcher 3 in maximum setting and extremly smooth. my p PS4 run good.

No, it's not the same game on PC that it is on console. The mechanics are completely different. And a Playstation is completely different from an XBox as well. A PC is not a console. It's like saying that the mobile game is the same game that it is on PC. It's really not. So sorry. I know it sucks and it's frustrating to want to play the game and not have it work correctly. You need to report your issue to Wildcard and submit a ticket to THEM. They are the ones that came up with the console version. You really are asking in the wrong forum. Really, we can't help you here.

Ok please tell me the difference between console Ark and PC Ark. Mods don't count.

I don't see you mention gameplay. So it is the same game except more modifiable on PC. But the base game is the same.

I m not asking.

i report a bug. as i mentionned, it's not possible from the console itself. and as i have a steam account and the game is also here, i take free to report the bug here.

like i said, it's possible thats ome people on pc may have the same problem, so it may help the devs in any ways.

Also, just to mention, yes, it is the same game.

- mods aren't a part of the game. The game didn't came out with mods, as for the rest, it's included, may it be the primitivel mod and else.
- the game is identical in all content and the updates are mostly the exact same. (depend on bugs and requirements of fixing)
- events are the same (just delayed)
- a playstation is mainly the exact as an xbox, only software and a bit differences (they use same CPU, same Graphicss device etc... and this sinze multiples generations now.)

here an exemple :

PS5 Digital Edition
- AMD Ryzen Zen 2, 8-core, 3.5 GHz
- AMD Radeon RDNA 2, 10 teraflops
- 16Gb RAM
- 825 GB SSD

Xbox Series S
- AMD Ryzen Zen 2, 8-core, 3.6 GHz
- AMD Radeon RDNA 2 GPU, 4 teraflops
- 10Gb RAM
- 512 GB SSD

so yes, basically same products.

Okay, I get that. But you just wasted a whole lot of time on this forum. The people who can actually do something about console programming don't read this. This is for Steam PC. But you can go ahead and keep typing if it makes you feel better. It IS frustrating, I get it. If you need to let off some steam by venting here, go for it.

What you REALLY should do is post in their Discord. People from Wildcard actually DO pay attention to the Discord. And it's not limited to one platform.
