Dont forget to filter by player count.
yea i filtered it, the highest pop was 13 players
It is also important to understand that the in game server search system is unable to search and show all 70,000+ servers out there to play the game on. This is why people state to use battlemetrics(not ark servers.net as it doesnt list all and pays to promote servers that arent necessarily good ones to be featured).
I find that hard to believe for battlemetrics:
I just sorted it for you by players:
https://www.battlemetrics.com/servers/ark?sort=-players
First page of 10 servers has 50+ players on as of the time of writing this with one at 70.
Make sure you're doing your filters properly. If you're being too too picky with the things you're filtering for, of course dont expect to necessarily have high population servers.
And lastly, as a general rule, people don't play ark on super high pop servers. This is because it tends to be more large tribe centered and ecocide is an issue. Most choose to play low and medium population cluster servers(unofficial ones) that are made by a gaming community(ie ark not being the only game they play so the community is sustainable and thus the likelihood the game is more sustainable too for the long term).
yea i understand that but if i search for mts for example nothing shows up. And i think at least some high pop servers should be showing up doesnt it
But thanks for helping anyways maybe well find a solution
and yea i know what you mean, ive been playing ark on ps4 since release, there were always some big clusters on top i know how to filter properly im not playing it the first time. but like i said only 0-7 players are showing up and for example there are only 70 official servers for center pvp. and total of 100 inoficiall servers on the center
You didn't need to inanely necro this thread with a "same" silly post. You'd have been better served to make your own thread but since you're here, (and in case someone else might be so inclined as to do this can read and not do so).
The in game search system for ark is 100% incapable of listing all 80,000+ servers available for game play. The system is just simply unable to handle it.
There is nothing to fix on your end. Its just that the system in game itself is hamstringed.
This is why the majority of players for years have known to use the battlemetrics website as mentioned.
I've set battlemetrics in this link to provide you with sorting by player numbers here (again as I did it above 8 months ago)
https://www.battlemetrics.com/servers/ark?sort=-players
This is not filtering unofficial or official so if you're wanting more specific choices, do so yourself. But honestly, you should've done that to begin with from the links and help already given in this thread.
All in all, stop relying on the in game system if it doesn't meet your wants. Period.
