Freezing to death with fur armor *Ragnarok*
So, I was going to go out looking for ice wyvern eggs. I couldn't search all the spots before I had 50 hp, and had to return. I have 300 health, full fur armor, a torch and 52 fortitude. Someone that got tips in what to do more? Ps. I'm lvl 94, so it's hard leveling up.

If better quality armor isn't an option the an Otter + the Curry is your best option. or just the curry.

The cold on ragnarok is just overkill. Even the best fur armor does not let you avoid the cold entirely in some places. Try to be quick. Find out where the eggs are supposed to be in advance, youtube it or something. Then fly in fast, pick up the egg, fly out fast before you die of freezing. In my singleplayer I tried setting the levels to give lots of fortitude, had like over 100 fortitude, primal fur armor, otter on shoulder, still freezing to death in some of the snow areas.

murder murder snow isn't suppose to be easy.. Tranq a female drink some milk.. you'll have 5x 5min anti freeze..

The area known as "Murder Murder Snow" is intended by the Rag makers to be extrement on purpose with the focus to kill those who unwisely linger.

If you think that's bad though, wait until "Murder Murder Desert" is done.

50 insulation negates approx. 3 celcius. You get the freeze debuff below 7 celcius.

Assume murder snow is -66 celcius. You need 1200 insulation to lose the debuff though as you approach that number you take less damage.

How you get there makes no difference but better quality fur is the easiest.

Easiest way to get better quality fur is to setup 1x1 huts with a bed at each of the 18 sea crate locations on SE and check them every hour by fast travelling to each.

Fort is a very poor way to build up your insulation.

Quetz + Platform + Generator + Airconditioners = Problem solved

Well, there is a weather bug on some ragnarok maps which will drop the temp by another 20° - 35° if it starts raining. That might cause your problem.

The cold areas in Rags are too cold. Even with 400 fort it's not enough.

Yes I did go on a server where I could get it that high easy just to test it.
30 fort with mc gloves boots and hood, and a 340% otter. I'm fine.

You were cold. All ♥♥♥♥ fur armor will not keep you warm. It is named the "murder murder snow" for a reason. Why is the point of this post but to say you do not know how to hit "H" and realise that it is very cold out there?
