You have GOT to address server stability

In the last two days, the public PvE server i play on has crashed 6+ times, and each time that's a 45 minute rollback. This accounts for hours and hours of lost play.

GMs need to go in and prune the Chinese [][][][][][] box tribes setting up MASSIVE structures and leaving thousands of identical dinos out. This has to be contributing to the issues, and often they are crashing the server on purpose to try and dupe items.

I know you're working on Ark 2, but for God's sake, you can't forget Ark 1. PLEASE upgrades your server hardware rails that the actual instanced run on. This is inexcusable.

6 times in 2 days is small potatoes compared to several times an hour disconnected from host on gen-one pve 584, agreed.. Ive never seen the servers this bad. Ive seen battlemetrics data of theisland maps(including the one im on) with hard crashes every hour with rollbacks also. it pathetic to abandon people and their hard work in this way.

i found out by looking at when this started for alot of the servers and battlemetrics shows the same date dec 14th, but reports, posts etc are all in vain. The disconnects from host on Gen has been longer - more like a year

1. Devs nor support interact on here in this capacity so addressing your rant to them is pointless.

2. There has been an issue discussed on the Ark discord and twitter that has been cited as one of the main reasons for the recent crashes and rollbacks for official servers that they've been working on.

3. Wildcard has stated that all folks from all countries are welcome to play their servers. Country of origin bashing never has a favorable outcome on here. Your erroneous correlation based on your own silliness does not equal causation. As well, keep in mind that any non romanized language will show up as those boxes on your screen too.

4. There are only around 1300ish Wildcard maintained servers(that legacy and official combined btw). By contrast there are 70,000+ unofficial servers where various ranted complaints such as yours are a non issue. Thus you've choices.

Thats not how it works. If you dont like the conditions of official or other servers welcoming to anyone, make your own and there you can privately complain about others as you wish.

privet servers dont excuese the fact the games regulated servers are trash

Your churlishness aside, you or he are simply having expectation taken from other games that official servers are to be pedestaled. They are nothing more than asset demonstration servers.

Disagree or gnash teeth with entitled expectations otherwise but such wants simply do not match the reality of the situation.

Otherwise, the majority of the playerbase would not be encourage by devs to play unofficial servers nor modders monetarily incentivized by devs to make mods for use on unofficials.

I get you and he are ranting but doing so by dredging up a long dead beaten horse about not wanting x country or region to play on official servers and blaming an issue unrelated for it invariably is inviting locks and or redbadged for it.

Either roll with it, play unofgicials, shelve the game until it matches ones delicate sensibilities (never) or shelve it indefinitely.

Since ABSOLUTLY NOBODY is paying to maintain the FREE "official" servers, how can you expect them to be anything more than ♥♥♥♥...? Other games require a monthly subscription because taking care of servers cost a ton. Here you use them for free and so get the according experience. If you want well maintained and policed servers then make your own or join a privatly owned one.

I am FAR from defending Wildcard's servers, they are ♥♥♥♥ and they should just close them all or have a monthly subscription to allow their maintenance.

How is it "FREE" when we all paid for the game and many many people for the dlcs? It's not a free to play and even servers in free to play games are better. The servers are simply just bad because they don't care.
