Lost connection to host

Hey everyone

Ive played a lot of ark, Official and modded but recently my mate purchased an ark server. First night played it with no issues and now its been 4/5 days and i keep getting the same issue and getting booted from the server "lost connection to host timeout"

It will load me in and i wont be able to check tribe logs or see my ping or anything, everything is frozen and then i timeout and get kicked. I tried playing on offical and other modded servers and i have no issues at all.

I've verified my game cache, wiped all my mods and deleted folder and redownloaded them. Updated all my drivers, flushed my dns on CMD and ive also check my firewall to make sure its not blocking my connection.

Can anyone please help !!

1. Go to the steam help menu, click system information, and then copy paste all that here so we can see what steam detects for your rig and any potential discrepancies.

2. List all mods his server is using by name and in their load order.

Start with those and lets see from there.

1. Make sure you have your 2080ti card actually plugged into your monitor and not the motherboard's graphic port on our desktop computer.

2. Accordingly to the information too, you're using 2 monitors. Drop to 1 and or configure it differently due perhaps to point 1's discrepancies.

3. You show that you have 2 drives: one is an HDD and the other is an SDD. Your ssd is too small for ark. Make sure that you have your OS, Steam, ark and modded content all on the same drive. Unfortunately this will mean that you have to have it on the HDD and since modded content causes HDD's to slow down in loading by a significant amount of time, you have encounter issues.

4. Lost connection to host/time outs in general/as a whole are usually related to the host and not the player(unless you have internet connection issues. You failed to list the modded content and one of the number one issues for servers is poorly chosen or ordered mods. Until you have the list and the load order for mods for his server, this could be a variable.

1. That list has mods that are out of date and potentially broken.
2. Unless stated that another mod needs to be on top, stacking mods should be as close to the top as possible.
3. Also multiple creature adding mods from different mod makers can also be a source of adverse interactions that translate to issues.

We have just found out, Whern i make a new character i can play on the server and for a few hrs but if i get kicked i can not play and keep getting the lost connection issue but if i join the other servers but with new characters i can connect.
