The blue zone is actually one big area, there are multiple ways to get there. But yeah, as the person above said, just follow the rivers to the southeast.

if you look on the map, below the fertile lake to the right, you will see 2 rivers in sort of a < shape. Go to the right side of the bottom river then there should be a path that leads down
