Queen Bees only spawning at level 5

I am playing on a host non dedicated server as host with some friends, and every time we destroy a bee hive to try and tame a queen bee, it is always level 5. Wiping all non tamed dinosaurs may help, as we are also having a few issues with wyverns and griffins not spawning any more, neither are much of a big deal, but can anyone tell me how to fix this, or whether it is a game feature.

Bee's are always level 5 if im not mistaken.

Ok, thanks I was just wondering, as ive seen other people on youtube have higher levels, it must be mods or somthing like that

There are a couple animals that always spawn at a fixed low level. All Leedsicthis are level 1 regardless of server settings (Presumably so they can't one hit rafts, like they used to when they launched), and Leopleredon and queen bees spawn at the lowest possible level for the server settings (So level 5 if your max level is 150, 6 if it is 180, etc)

Sorry for asking another question, but do you know what The max levels for wyverns and normal creatures would be if the bee level is 5 and our jerboa level is 1

190 should be max level for wyverns\rockdrakes if your max wild levels is set to 150 (queen bee at lvl 5).

Jerboa is another tame that is always level 1 reguardless of server settings. I think Bees are fixed at the lowest normal spawning level, which means the max level (For normal Dinos) on that server would be 150, and the max Wyvern level would be 190. But I am not 100% positive that bees scale with max level, they might always spawn at level 5, in which case you can't make any judgments on max level based on bees and Jerboas.
