Any way to download a server's map?

Hey! Me and my friends wanted to play on a private server, so I found a site where I could make a free trial, I did the free trial and now I just found out they had already bought one at nitrado, we have already played on this server for a bit now, and don't have access to server files. Is there a way to download the maps from my client? I'm admin on the server.

You need to FTP into the server with a program like WinSCP. Probably not going to work for the 'free trial' gameplay unless you have access to Host name, Port number, Username and Password from that server.

Yeah, I do not have access to their SFTP control panel. What do you mean by hostname portnumber username and password?

I am able to access the RCON console, would that help in any way?

I FTP into my server to change world saves, make copies of character and world saves, roll backs. I do not know about RCON or SFTP as I ony have done the FTP. Which requires all that info to get into the server while it is shut off. After you are in, it is very easy to download and upload files. The required info to get into the server is found, depending company you use, under the Status page of the server. I do not know Nitrado, I use another company.

Well first off you want the Save folder on the server not map files. Second FTP can usually be gained by software such as Filezilla. Forgive me that spelling may be butchered. RCON is more or less for admining a server.
Nitrando should have info on their website telling you if you have FTP access. I have not used a host in a very long time so I am out of date on what they provide.

Hopefully this info is helpful to you. Can also google FTP access and the software I mentioned should be in the top picks for such access.

In that case getting the map, isnt going to happen, unless there support wants to help you (but considering its a free trial as mentioned before, that is also highly unlikely).
