Parakeet Fish Schools

In my SP Genesis world I'm either really unlucky, they are really rare, or they are bugged and they are not spawning. I can't find a parakeet fish school anywhere to tame a 145 turtle I found with.

they spawn usually halfway/deep in the ocean and can be hard to find

Often you find them either in the middle of a large open area so you miss them, or tucked against a wall.

Thanks for info, actually ended up finding one next to the turtle a little while after and got my turtle tamed up.

I haven't tried taming the new big turtles yet because I also struggle to find parakeet schools on-demand.

Ya it took me a while just to find the one school that I used.
