Considering the patch we just had, its highly likely that there debating on when to start it, in-case they need to euhm .... you know fix things they broken ;-)

the community crunch claims it was to start at 1PM EST. haven't been able to find any updates as to why it hasn't kicked in yet tho..

In the year that I have played.. they have had the evo event every weekend

There's no event, but there's no servers as well, at least the 348 I was playing on is off since today's patch. Almost eight hours ago now. I know my newborns will starve for sure.

Oh dear lord, always the same story with this game, years after years...they always have this perfect timing to mess up things that makes me lose all the work done with breeding. What a loss of time.
Waiting for hours for the server to be up again to save something but they just don't care to give any news. I'm going to sleep.

probly no event you know wildcard recetes back dates does thier job half assed only on weekend when all the players are active.they fix bugs roll patches ect ect same olde story ..total fail
