Good metal spots near fertile lake in Abberation?

Hi! I spawned near fertile lake and I am curious is there any good spots for metal near?

Down just to the start of blue zone, by the bridge. Pretty much endless amounts there.

Tried using the wiki's resource map to help you find such resources and more?

And are you still confused if you search for videos on the subject on google/youtube?

If so, then Im not quite sure how someone trying to vaguely explain where to you is going to be of service. Perhaps you should ask a friend or someone on a public server to show you. Better yet you could go in single player and use admin commands to fly and protect you as you look yourself then more expediently.

There's a surface entrance I. The north of fertile lake. Leading up to the entrance are grey rocks that have a lot of metal

I didn't look at youtube vids I will look there

most maps I am fine using the wiki on, but abberation has many levels that it confuses me which level the stuff I am looking at is on

like on the center I am fine, it just shows the different cave entrances names and everything outside has a name

but Abberation has 4 levels doesn't it ?? the surface, the middle level, tthe lower vine level and the much lower place where the ravangers spawn so I have difficulties imagining the place location in corrilation to those

and friends both got new broken pcs haha so they can't show me and it is just us on Abberation atm

There's 4, but really 3 levels on Aberration.
1. Green Zone
Fertile lake, rivers, lots of tall rocks. Ravagers, karkinos and spinos are found here. Lots of fungal wood, stone etc, as well as poisonous mushroom spores.
It's the easiest place (still deadly af)

2. Blue zone
Also tall rocks, rivers and lakes. Endless amounts of metal. You also get blue gems here. More poisonous mushroom spores. Nameless will spawn constantly if you don't have light.
Very deadly place.

3. Red zone
Radiation everywhere, so you will die fast. Radiation river will kill you in a second. Lots of nameless, reapers and so on. Everything wants to and will kill you. Also it's easy to get lost. Basically guaranteed death, everywhere.


Surface is 3 separate regions. There's not much to get there, except supply drops. There are seekers, reapers and nameless, and at sunrise everything dies instantly.

so how do I get from green to blue? just go down on the map or is there a way I need to do it?

I mentioned above that there is a rich metal area in the north of the green zone.
Unless you are prepared to defend yourself, the blue zone is a little risky.

The area i refer to isnt risk free... There are mushroom spores at the entrance, and nameless spawn there. But as long as you take a light pet and some backup you can quickly enough deal with the nameless before they become a problem.
