And merging those two sets of stats would put you over the default level cap. So just bringing that to your attention.
As far as actual mutation caps, i.e. 20 pat mat, you can exceed that stupidly easy as I assume you already are aware of having gotten such high stats
the game will no longer allow you to level a dino above the set cap anymore on official, but im not sure about unofficial, basically theres just unused levels and ability to level goes away like its maxed.
unofficial if your dino level is increased to allow the points then sure
You cannot add domesticated levels if creatures base stat is 255. If the base stat is 254 you however can add all the domesticated 73 lvl up or 88 for x creatures.
You can breed infinitely for mutations. Thats not the issue.
The issue is how you breed for such. Tons of vids on yt about this.
