Mantis and Basilisk tames on Genesis Part 2?

Assuming you can't get either of their taming items on this map, I'm gonna take a guess and say you can't tame them.

Has anyone found anything differently? Is there a different type of egg from the new creatures that can be used towards basilisks? What about mantis? Any items to tame that?

I do know what those are, if its not vanilla might as well admincheat it.

Mods or Modifications called are extra content created by players to make the game more fun. yes there are some mods that are like cheats but not all of them many of them let you build fantastic castles or tame unique creatues that normaly are not in the game and many of them are supported by wildcard too maybe you should explore the workshop of ark and really look what these mods do :)

- afai have read, a forcetame isn't a normal tamed creature and may have several bugs.
- for example, crashing, if you ride a force-tamed creature without a saddle, which seems to be possible, even if that creature can be tamed in a normal way.

So the real easiest way, if you don't want to change maps and don't want to use admin-commands, is to use a mod, which lets Mantis accept rhino horns (I'm sure, there was something in that regard in the past...) and/or make the related creatures, including their netsts, spawn on Genesis 2, so you can tame them the normal way eventually. Although such a mod might not exist, yet, it's just a matter of time.

Another solution, if you have admin-rights is, to just admin-spawn the items you need.

You have ForceTame and DoTame

Force is for creatures that you should not be able to tame like Broodmother.

DoTame will tame any tameable dino like if you just filled its tame bar.

You can also add deathwormhorn to the loot table of Genesis 2 by .ini, you can make it for example Rhino drops 1 deathwormhorn etc., no mods needed.

or just transfer them from another map, probably easiest bet.

So wrong brother, I use mods but NONE give me an advantage. There are alot of "make game easier mod" but also alot that make it harder. If you havent looked into some of the mods, then ahhhhhh boy you are in for a treat

Just try the alpha everything Mod, and make it so you can not tame alphas. This mod was too crazy for me and I removed it when I went to do the genesis mosa brute mission and a level 100 alpha megalodon killed my whole crew within 2 seconds

Don't think they are tbh, but I've never tried either.
I only really remember them being added to the Broth recipe at some point in the past.

and to be fair what I was suggesting was to add a mod that adds rock drakes to a specific location already on the map. that part of the map has 4 large rocks that were clearly made for rock drakes. the nest spaces are there and everything. for whatever reason they continue to leave them out at the last minute. but the developer clearly put it in so that one could add them if they wish.

i agree. silly mods like S+ cheese the game...a freaking nanny to forget n raise babies 100% imprint...bustedddddddddddddddddddddddd

mantis is not tameable via Rhino horns. If you are unofficial there is a mod called Simple Spawners that allows you to set deathworms to spawn on said map as well as place rockdrake nests that will get eggs.

Mods add content and more items to the game. You can't simply admincheat something that doesn't exist in the base game. It's not rocket science.
