If the only options are super tek and there's no prim+ or similar, I'm out. I'll go play Conan. Even if they do have some sort of primitive version of the game, I don't expect them to suddenly care about existing content the way they pump out half-baked DLCs with so many bugs you need a can of raid to play..

Yep, even tho ark has always been a bit of a dumpster fire, its a dumpster fire that I love so I cant help it lol

i put off buying ark for many years. i ended up buying in 2019 and i have just passed 2000hrs. i will likely put off buying ark 2 especially if it comes out in EA

i have thousands and thousands of hours between xbox and steam........so i a bit dodgy now on ark 2 with ark itsellf being a letdown each new release

Well Im hopeful that Ark II will just be a better version of Ark 1. All the good parts with less of the bad. I feel like they messed up Ark 1 so bad making a new one was the only option. I think Ark 2 will be better, and I will give it a shot.

Eeeeeeh. I've seen them try to do other things, forget what that dumbass pirate game was called. At the very least I will wait for solid reviews, probably for a hefty sale too. Judging by their track record on optimizing things I predict that Ark2 will run smoothly roughly on the main computer of the Starship Enterprise, not those early versions either, probably around NCC-1701-E, possibly F.
