Check the resolution scale in game settings.
I had a similar problem, where times when I change the game resolution to play on my TV, the apply/save didn't work and it feels like it goes to a lower resolution.
Proper fix was to go from fullscreen to window mode and back to fullscreen and it got fixed.

sorry for any bad english

yeah Make sure the Bars aren't super Low. Res Scale and I can't remember the other one but there is anouther one that if its low makes the dinos look like walking polygons even if everything else is set to max.

even if i turn the res scale all the way up and everything on max, go windowed mode then fullscreen its still blurry nothing seems to really fix it,

Sometimes the game just weird. I had this problem 2 days ago when I alt+tabbed and when I came back the game looked like a PS1 game. Usually a game restart solves the problem for me tho.

Would need screenshots especially of graphic settings, it is something I get on fresh installs but it's not straight forward to fix it depends on graphic settings

Yeah this is probably because they added in forced always on antialiasing after this last update, I made a thread about it too earlier, here:

https://steamcommunity.com/app/346110/discussions/0/3114782328000909245/#c3114782328003119840

It seems that the last update makes it so setting antialiasing to low does not remove it anymore and there is always antialiasing on now which is the worst type, the same one that makes games like Conan Exiles or Red Dead Redemtion 2 also look blurry, so it is some form of TAA probably. They need to let us turn it off completely, not just set it to low and force it on.

No that is not why, I had it 2 months back, and I see the issue, you have high quality anisotropic filtering off, putting that on fixed it for me
it is better now but it is still very blurry
Loladin Jun 6, 2021 @ 3:30am
Had the same issue yesterday or at least similar, where rocks and other stuff wouldn't render with the texture on, it was just a blurry mess, same with mountains, on my private gen2 server. My friend had no issues on the server.

I tested if it was the same across all maps, and it wasnt, So i validated my ark files, which resulted in 3 files that needed to be reaquired.
Has been working since...

Hope you find a solution to your problem.

This also works on ASA. Thanks for posting. Windowed then back sorts it all out. Thank you!

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
