Stuck Inside Pitch Black Cube/box area on spawning into Gen2

Just spawned into a small tribes official genisis 2 world, and im stuck along with others inside of a Pitch black box. Is this a bug?

For now, do NOT log out during the intro cinematic.
As for those already in this state, no fix for it, you'll have to wait for the fix unfortunately.

Joining the club...I did not log out during an intro cinematic or anything though. Logged out earlier in my base, went to work...came home and am stuck in this black cube :(

for me i could kill mysel fwhile in it, take the boots of, fly up and then die from fall damag, got me out of it. was on my own server tho.

I did have to alt f4 during the what i assume was supposed to be the intro cinimatic, the game was frozen on a white light kind of screen, after about 5 minutes of waiting i did have to end the process, so this seems to be what triggered being placed into this cube out in the skybox?

Yes i was on one that was 130/70 pop when the cut scene didnt load and i was forced to end the process.

The black cinematic box is a temporary place your character is placed at while you view the intro cinematic.
The game TP's you out into the normal playable map when this ends, interrupting this intro gets you stuck there since the trigger to tp you out is also interrupted why logging out.
But some players are reporting they are teleported there after a normal logout in their base, so we're still investigating that part of it.

I was asking him since he specifically states it was not related to the intro, which is more concerning right now.
