Possible to disable/stop auto downloads of DLC's not owned ?

Its been 2 years since I last checked in one this and was wondering if they implemented a way to stop DLC's not owned by the player from downloading (too much bloated game files)?

I know one of the defenses of the Dev's regarding this was to streamline user experience if they joined a server that has it, but many including myself just play the local singleplayer, without many of the extras.

If not, please implement a way to stop the file bloat of unowned DLC's.

You should be able to spawn in any creatures and items from dlcs and use mods that adds it even if you don't own the dlcs, so if you didn't have the data from them then the spawning and mods that does that wouldn't work.

When the dlcs are bough it is basically just the map that is bough and not the new creatures and items. Everyone gets all the other content (just that you need to spawn it using cheats or use mods that adds it to other maps or play on a server where other people bring it from the other maps).

Right click on the game and select which dlcs to uncheck before you install

Right click/properties/dlc check/uncheck what you want

I don't see the DLC I don't own appear there, yet their files still install.

You need the item and creature files of all DLC's since they can be transferred, your client would crash if you missed those files and 1 of them would render in nearby.
You don't download the map files of un-owned DLC's

Considering the only exclusive content is the maps you are not getting any bloat files. The game without the maps installed is 105GB. If you do not have space then just do not install.
