Tek Giga

I've spawned a Tek-Giga on my island singleplayer map and tamed him shortly after.
After lvling him up for a few hours, he despawned after i restarted my world.

anyone knows why?

It's not a valid entity. You were able to spawn it because it exists within game files, but the game itself does not have any-tek giga. Think of it as unimplemented content. When you restarted your world, the game did a "check" and deleted all invalid entities, thus the giga despawned. If you want a "valid" tek giga, there's a bionic costume you can unlock by doing the Survivor of the Center achievement and then equipping that skin on a giga of your choice.

If you want to use tek-gigas you can install Kraken's better dinos mod, that allows tek gigas to spawn in wild and persist through restarts. The mod does much more too though, so you may want to read the mod pages before installing.

hey excuse me i am not really sure if thats the right place lol but can someone please help me with my nitrado server i wanna take over dinos and switch worlds and have a couple of questions xD

who knows. it is a mission specific dino so maybe never. though we had the release of tek trike in genesis 1 (when it existed as a skin for pc4 for years) so....maybe one day x)

alternatively, you can add a 20% tek giga spawnentry in your map to allow it to spawn as legit content

in the files? and if yes, where?
