Maybe you don't know how sales, forecasting, and marketing work but 15% off for new content that is in demand is a solid deal considering there will be a brand new map, dinos, variants, weapons, structures, etc. in only 4 days for a game with a 5-6 years of dev time behind it.

15% off is a good price considering you are getting two expansions for one price. I wish Capcom would throw out a 15% discount on their season pass and thats just 5 characters in a fighting game.

Steam reviews are flawed in their functionality too. Its way to easy to tank a games rating with a barrage of one line reviews that "hated" it for ridiculous reasons. Most gamers are incapable of leaving a fair unbiased review and only use the feature to dig at the developers or vent their frustrations like it was an un-moderated forum.

It got mixed reviews because of cry babies who preordered it and then review bombed it when the DLC wasn't what they expected.

Would have made more sense to wait until Gen1 was released... But a whole load of people preordered. Which IMO is silly to do.

WC implemented additional configs to accommodate many of the complaints... But the reviews remained as they were.

I was hoping for a bit more than 15% also, it is 2 years old after all.

You should feel lucky to be offered a 15% discount considering Gen 2 hasn't been released yet, I'd assume they expect to make some money for their final paid DLC before Ark 2.

new DLC comes out on the 2nd seems wierd they would put it at say 50% off right before it launches. The base game got a good discount because its not gonna be updated really. New content is gonna be coming out so its not getting a big discount

Discounts are used to drive sales. We get heaps of discounts throughout the year.

With new dlc and hype surrounding it... There is no need to push additional sales with discounts.
