Can someone explain the ultimate survivor edition benefits to me?

Not to seam clueless or that i cannot read or that im lazy, its legitimately hard to find answers to a few questions i have about the changes they have made. il list my questions as follows:

1: it seams i cannot purchase the original season pass dlc anymore, or the bundle for that matter, for freinds who may not have it. is this now merged into the main game? or must i get genesis for them in order for them to have all the dlc.

2: other then the soundtrack, is there other benefits to this new edition. or is the only addition to the game the banger of a soundtrack? (not complaining, i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love the ark soundtrack. the one thing about the game i would actuly consider flawless.)

3: if my freinds own the base game now that its been upgraded, do they get the original season pass dlc stuff? and if not, why can i not purchase it for them anymore? (if the answers for before are that they need to buy it. )

any info thrown my way would be appreciated.

If you were to buy The Ultimate Survivor Edition, you get ARK survivor evolved (base game), Genesis 1 and 2, Scorched Earth, Aberration and Extinction and all of the songs listed.

For any already owned paid DLC or if you have the base game already, it will be discounted so you don't pay for them again.

The only thing is, if you buy it as a gift, you pay the full price because it doesn't know what your friend has and doesn't have.

sort of! it would appear now i am unable to buy any of the dlc, or the first season pass bundle for other people. its greyed out and wont let me put it in a cart... meaning, i can no longer gift the ark dlcs? if so, this is a terrible bloody change.

So for me I cannot get any of the paid DLC separately also.
I can however buy the Ultimate (like you) or the Genesis DLC that is on sale.
The Genesis DLC only includes Genesis 1 and 2 and does not contain SE, AB and Ext. It looks like to be able to get those, one must buy the Ultimate Edition.

ok, so in other words, if i wana play any previous maps with my freinds, they need to be the ones to shell out the cash for it.

i realy hope they change this, im fine with there being two season passes and just sod it too the separate maps. but why the smeg cant i get the season pass as a buyable thing for my buds?

as you said, genesis its fine, i can gift that all i want. but not the original stuff. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I saw someone else that seem to be having the same question or problem and one person replied that there is a season pass with the other 3 paid DLC and he posted a link..... funny thing is, when I click on it, it cannot be bought and it only gives the option to buy the Ultimate edition.
