Genesis Part 1 Boss Fight
Was anyone else super disappointed with this fight? They have us do all these objectives and show that they can make the game more interesting, and then make the "boss" essentially just four rounds of fighting an endless horde. It was really disappointing too to realize that one of the big reasons I can't use flyers on this entire map is this boss, cuz a flyer would just trivialize it.

Especially when I compare this to the Aberration Rockwell fight or the titans from Exctinction, which were a huge step up from the previous fights. Then we get to Genesis Pt. 1 and take a huge step back by just making the Island boss fight again but add keys, and make it worse.

I didn't have any issues with doing the fight or anything, I just found it incredibly boring and uninspiring.

Well it was better than Rex rushing Island / SE bosses but I wasn't overly disappointed. I felt it was a step up and challenging. I assume you are talking as a solo player because you mention trivialising content, which is what tribe play does throughout the whole game.

I enjoy the horde combat of the boss fight, can be pretty tough solo. I hate the need to gather keys, but it does mach the tedious nature of many of the other missions you need to grind through on the map.
Doubt the boss fight had anything to do with restricting flyers, if that was the reason they could just prevent flyers into the fight. It's the missions on the map that flyers trivialise, also the Lunar biome just doesn't work well when you use a flyer.
