B) dont let spino touch water
C) post video
I just sent my parasaur herd at a local basilisk... didnt go as bad as I thoigh. Mostly cause of hit boxes though. Spinos have excellent hit ranges.
And remember that the melee percentage is only the percentage, there's also the base attack damage to consider. So your melee percentage would need to be probably three or four times higher than his to be equal. And THEN there's attack speed. His is also much higher :)
I would say even a low level spino can kill a extreme high level carbonemy easily.
What you can try is let your carbonemy tank, and you kill or tame the spino with crossbow.
Spino tame with crossbow only even with standard quality is no bad idea at all. Torpor of spino is pretty low compared to other big predators like rex.
Depending on your worldsettings and spinolevel you might should check a tamingcalculator how many arrows you need +at least 25% more, to be on the safe side.
A low lvl spino will have around 1000hp
Dont listen to these folks, spino torpor is one of the worst in game, you'll need stacks and stacks of berries real often. Major tame effort unlike rex which is almost ko and forget.
Congrats! Spinos are awesome btw.
