PC loss of mouse movement help please.
I'm having no issues on my primary computer and account. But I'm using remote desktop to run a second account on an insufficient pc to keep a dino slaying farm running while I'm away from base. Movement is always a bit slow but very often I lose the ability to turn my character past a certain point left or right. I can look up and down fine but instead of being able to look 360 degrees around me I can only look around 260-280. Shake my mouse, bang it around some and I'll sometimes be able to look the direction I was trying to. However still only 270 degrees rotation. Using a wired asus mouse and having zero issues on my primary. Please help me if you can.
Thanks

You probably answered your own question.

If the other mouse is Wireless its likely going to sleep after some time of being idle, a Wired mouse wouldnt do that..

Remote desktop let's you access another computer on your network thru your primary computer

Oh and the mouse is wired. That's why it's so weird to me

Alright
But does the mouse act up when it hasnt been used for an amount of time or does it do it even while its being used?

Its likely caused by resource usage because of the game being ran for so long
How much RAM do you have?

Remote desktop simply is not meant for what you're using it for.
What it sounds to me... Is that the game is not properly capturing the mouse and after a certain point your cursor is leaving the Ark, or RDP window. Such that naturally the game stops recognising the mouses movement anymore.

You could try a remote "control" (note different to remote "desktop"). Examples being logmein, teamviewer, and VNC.

Or alternatively adjust your resolution/window settings in both Ark and RDP. Are you using RDP in full screen or windowed? How about Ark?

Ultimately its simply not meant to be used in this manner so you may not be able to fix it.

I noticed that I was wrong it is allowing me rotate 360degrees exactly not beyond. Thing is the view is moving fine except when I get to the area it decided stop. I can look back the other direction i came from with no issue. Up and down no issue. I've been using the fullscreen but just switched to windowed in both and it is still doing it. Experimenting a bit more it's seems to be random degrees of rotation. I have graphic on low all the way on ark and dont know how to change res on rdp acctually

In your connection settings you can specify the resolution, full screen, connect printers drives etc. etc.

Your RDP connection. You're launching MSTSC to initiate the RDP connection. The MSTSC window contains a plethora of config options for your connection.

If someone just gave you a saved connection/shortcut. Rightclick and edit it to see the options.

It is the mouse moving off of the game. Dont understand why if there both on fullscreen. 2 computer's ark has the same res as 1 computers remote connection to 2 by the way. Not sure if that's what you were asking

Sorry should've refreshed

The resolution of each PC does not matter.
What I am asking... is the resolution of your RDP connection. And to tinker with that as a potential fix.

I hit the button bottom left of box where you put in username and computer. Then clicked display. Display configuration slider is at full screen. Color depth at highest quality 32 bit.Box is checked for display the connection bar when I use full screen. Is this where you are taking about? Was expecting more options on regarding the display. Also have a general, local resources, experience and advanced tab.
