Use the original kibble recipes. How to modify the current game to achieve that, I haven't a clue. But I'm guessing you can simulate old school difficulty by obtaining eggs from every egg laying dino that that existed before 2019.
Although that wasn't necessary, even before the kibble revamp. You only needed to collect eggs to make kibble for dinos you wanted to tame.
It's not been updated with the kibble rework, but the basic kibble is called Kibble_Base_XSmall
Why so much hassle just to change the recipe for basic kibble? Just leave it as it is tbh.
