Still can't fish!
No matter what i do, it will not let me cast anywhere? Any ideas?

Weird looking through other forums someone said to sit with chair submerged and that is working, but this is crap I have to use scuba to cast. WTFF.
P.S. I can only cast right in front of me. What is happening? Just got a sweet pole after months and can not even do it

To my knowledge fishing is specifically a seated action. Because of this, the factor of trying to setup favorable and safe fishing grounds, I avoid fishing.

Problem is I have fished many times on the gamepass version and gotten decent loot, also great way to pass time while breeding, this just sucks

Yep one has to sit, and as well if someone uses materials like foundations etc for the chair/bench to be placed on, then it runs the risk of strongly reducing the spawns of fish in that area.

Put a chair on a raft. Fishing requires specific baits. Have those and its easier to move around to fish. The mechanics for fishing you may find to be tedious too so be warned.

I know, I have fished many times on the game pass version with no problems, chair, bench, on a raft, off a raft, and on a pelagornis. Hell when the last love evolved happened I fished for 2 weeks straight. So i know how and where to fish, BUT the problem is is that it is only letting me cast with a chair fully submerged in water, AND only will cast directly in front of me. So? That is definitely not the way gushing is supposed to be. Does anyone else have this problem, can someone test?
Please understand that this is not a problem if not knowing how to do it.
