BEST DLC

Hi i played ark long time ago , like 2years ago and i want to play it again this summer. Since there is a summer sale wich dlc is the best to buy ?? All i want is fun

Aberration is often considered the best DLC and rightfully so. Feels completely different than any other DLC and honestly very fun to play. Also depends on what you want from a DLC. I'd personally rank them Aberration > Gen1 (though many people seem to dislike it for some reason) > Extinction > Scorched Earth > Gen2. Though I don't think Gen1 and Gen2 come separately.

So i should buy pack of the first 3 dlc and let the last season pass for the future? ( is not on sale right now)

I'd buy the regular seaason's pass with the first 3 DLCs if you can. If you really love Ark, then go for the bundle with everything.

Scorched Earth, Aberration and Extinction are pretty decent maps and well worth the price. Aberration is a fan favorite and one of the most difficult maps vanilla.

Genesis 1 and 2 are... Yeah... Bad... and a big departure from the core of how Ark is played. They have missions instead of caves with artifacts. Gen 2 is particularly polarizing but i enjoy the map a lot since tek is the main focus.

Older DLC's imho are the better ones, anything Extinction and later heavily leans on group content (can mostly be done solo though), witch does not translate very well to singleplayer i find. And the latter is basically the only reason why i don't like Gen 1 & 2, if they where able to make a noticeable difference between server and singleplayer, i would most likely rate them higher because the maps are quite amazing.

If you play with friends, and like doing things together, both Genesis maps will likely rate higher on your list.

For me its a toss up between Ragnarok and Crystal Isle, i think Crystal isle is my Fav map that endorsed by the devs, yes i understand its not a DLC, but if its modded right you can experience everything the DLCs have to offer on one map.

For me I would buy the first season pass. This has the most varied and unique content in it. Genesis is not great, but Genesis 2 is OK but still not as fun or unique as season 1.
