Neon colored Dinos ? Help

Hello Ark com, long time no see!
I'm coming back and just set up a server for my friends and I expected that there are alot of changes, but I didn't expect brightly neon colored dinos all over the Ark. We're playing on Ragna if that makes any difference with 10 mods (none change colors). I've searched online for a way to disable those weird colors, but only things I was able to find were 1+ years old posts about it being an event and the answers were "wait until the event is over next month, you cant disable this one". Because all those posts are old, I was wondering if the colors come from a screw up on my side and wanted to ask you guys if I can disable them somehow. I really don't want bright neon colored dinos, I don't like them. If you like them it's okay, I don't want the discussion to start about realism vs funky colors.

use the launch command CurrentEvent=None

then in console do a dino wipe DestroyWildDinos

no more fancy color dinos

That old post was incorrect, you can disable event by settings activeEvent to None in your GameUserSettings.ini, after doing so please do a wild dino wipe to ensure no more funky color appears. And I don't think there's any event active right now so I am not sure why your server has event on by default.

i got rainbow dinos on my server too before the event is active so idk if it will prevent it

Ya that solved the issue, no more neon colored dinos anywhere ! Ark servers are a special breed of servers. They do alot of weird things. Thanks Stephen and Dave !

thanks, i was looking for this too. As I did a dino wipe and suddenly half the dinos I see are dark blue and bright red. I dont mind a couple or when it occurs from mutations and stuff, but when it takes over the ark like a color virus it's a bit annoying.

I play SP tho, i didnt realize events activated on SP without input from me.

Yes they do. The above settings work for single player as well. My girl is gonna cop all the clothes and a collection of aviator sunglasses before ending the event.

ill try this my self. comeing back from a long break i was like who puked all over the dinos. looks everybody fell in box of melted crayons lol.
