Most useful dinos in Aberration
I got Aberration a few days ago finally, and am wondering what are the most useful dinos to getting around.

I currently have a Ravenger for traveling and light transport of material but wondering what I should get for dino transport and large material transport.

Also I'm still in the first biom right now, but are there any flying dinos on the map? If so I can just hunt down an Argentavis and use it for small to medium dino transport.

No flyers.

Only useful dinos out there besides ravager are crabs and megas.

Drakes and the big snake are somewhat useful but in reality they're meh but theyre only thing you can get.

Reapers are good but its annoying that your light gives them the debuff and going dark its annoying because nameless.

Tame a Spino , they are the best after TLC before getting a drake and not everything can attack you while riding it.

Is there nothing I can use to transport other dinos? Argentavis was my choice for that, but now.... Its going to be harder to build multiple bases around the map now.

thats the hole point, if you move around super slowly you play the map longer...

creature and content wise this dlc is lackluster and the map itself has a terrible pathing, really poor designed by all means.

I'll just have to get a pack of high lvl Ravengers to protect my caravans of farming dinos.

Karkinos is easy to tame, and can pick up dinos as big as a stego. They are a great mobile taming platfom, and have great mobility.

Ravagers are good for farming resources, because they decrease the weight of raw resources.

Megalo is great on this map, because they are always in night mode. They never have to sleep, and they pack a punch.

Bears are easy to knockout, easy to tame with honey everywhere in the first biome, they are capable fighters, and gather berries/mushrooms, meat, fiber and honey with appropriate weight.
Even without saddle (lvl 45) they are fine, and when you level quickly enough you can skip anything before.

You will want a (single) spino to farm your first crabs, simply because they cannot grab you from that saddle.
When you have enough ressources to knock-out a crab this will be your to-go mount, and probably the mount you take down with you the first time to grab drake eggs.
Basilisks and reapers are rather meh, since they lack the mobility of drakes and reapers are annoying with that whole light mechanic.

All in all, aberation is rather meh.

I am very nomadic in aberration now. I use paracers with platform saddles and convoy my tames for protection.
