I've never had issues with "Tree leaves disappearing" either. Even back in 2015 when I played ARK on a near literal Potato of a PC...
I've played this game for quite some time now, I know what I'm talking about.
This game has issues that have never been fixed and likely never will, they will most likely just not fix them and make Ark 2.
Also other people have experienced this bug, It's not hard to find other posts about it.
(I'll post links if you want)
I have a 1080 and an i7 10700k with no mods, The game should have no problem rendering the tree leaves correctly
I'll post screenshots after this post
Say many things, I would love to hear it
Still never saw the problem.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but to say that it's the game itself would mean that everyone would have the problem.
Since I never had that problem, haven't experienced that problem ever. Even before I upgraded from a toaster. I wouldn't blame the game itself rather than something going on user-end that the game doesn't agree with.
ARK isn't perfect, it will never be perfect.
Some issues just cannot be fixed in ARK. They can't.
The engine itself is an issue, but you can't fix the engine. Ergo, ARK 2.
So rather than trying to blame the game in it's entirety for a problem you and a few others are experiencing, but not everyone. Start considering what's wrong or different on your end that may be causing some kind of conflict.
A game bug/issue typically occurs to majority, if not everyone. Not a few people.
Looks like you've got something seriously messed up with your ARK here, when 99% of your foliage isn't rendered at all.
How about a little more about what you've got going on, than complaining that the game is broken. Maybe someone can point out what you've got going wrong here.
I was playing with -d3d10 and -sm4 in the launch options, This still happens even if i have that off.
And how do I see my specs as steam sees them?
