EPIC GAMES CANT JOIN FRIENDS ON STEAM

My friends bought a server and they are all playing on it.

I want to join but own the game on epic. They are running the vanilla map with no mods and crossplay steam/epic enabled.

The server is not showing in the server browser for me and I can not join via the IP.

How do I join my friends this is annoying af. The reddit is useless and nobody could give me an answer on there....

Are you filtering the server list type correctly? No firewall issues?

They sent me the IP, I opened the console "open ip" nothing

Still not showing on the browser

I pasted the server name the exact way the guy hosting spelt it. Nothing showing on the brower, I tried messing with the filters but still it would not show up.

I clicked "connect" and it opened a box saying "open steam"

From the feedback I get from epic players on my server, it seems the first time you join you may be waiting 5mins plus for the server to show in the browser.

I would try just typing filthy into the in game browser and wait a while, see what happens :)
