S+ Tek Engram Overrides / Unlearnable S+ Tek Engrams?

So, I'm running the S+ mod and run EnableEngramOverride=true, OverrideTekEngrams=true and finally TekEngramOverrideLevel=70

For whatever reason my character now has majority of the Tek Engrams (94) but for some reason certain engrams like the Tek Sleeping Pod, Tek Generator, etc, I haven't learned their S+ variant even though I know the original.

I tried converting a normal generator to S+ Tek Generator at the converter crafting station, but doesn't work because I don't know the engram.

The engram doesn't have a level requirement however, which is what really confuses me (even though I now have engrams learned by level not just by boss kills).

Any help?

Make sure you put it correctly into your ini file.

It's correct. 100%.

As a test;
I just removed the tek override however; OverrideTekEngrams=false

I removed the override, went back into game, used a mindwipe to forget all my engrams.

I killed Rockwell on gamma, learned the the vanilla replicator, the vanilla generator, the vanilla sleeping pod, etc.

I learned the S+ Tek Replicator, BUT, the S+ Generator, Sleeping Pod, etc. - the rest of them - STILL are blacked out. No level requirement, no nothing - and I know that since I get the generator and sleeping pod from Gamma Rockwell, I should be getting the S+ variants as well, correct?

Some S+ engrams are just impossible to learn. As of right now, it also seems like it's just some of the tek related ones too.

When you use EnableEngramOverrides=true you basically hide the vanilla counterpart engrams making them virtually impossible to learn.

OverrideTekEngrams=true is the same but hides the vanilla tek engrams.

The engrams should still be visible in the S+ tek replicator along with the S+ engrams you have unlocked, albeit with a yellow'ish background where it'll say "You have to learn this engram first etc"..

You should try putting TekEngramOverrideLevel=100 instead of 70

The engram isn't learnable at all though. Even without override and using the standard S+ .ini settings (false override, level 100, etc)

I haven't checked for other maps but at least on Aberration, there are multiple engrams that should be learnable that are just blacked out. At level 1, at level 115, I just can't learn them.

There might be a mod that causes this issue. Are you using an engram unlocker? I'm also assuming you've put the S+ engramoverrides inside and in the bottom of the gus ini and not in the game ini?

Correct, I AM using an Engram unlocker. I'm also putting it under gameusersettings.ini (I use Ark Server Manager and it makes messing things like that up impossible).

Now that you mention it, this is a VERY RECENT issue. I figured something with S+ screwed up but maybe it's the Engram unlocker.. Will test further.

Drop the engram unlocker and your ini setup should work.

Though ASM is also quite unstable and might mess stuff up. Try without both, then add one, remove it, add the other and if it only persist with one of them installed then get rid of the one causing it to happen.
