Is it even possible to fight the Alpha Master Controller in Genesis in singleplayer?

I'm wondering if it's possible to fight the Alpha tier Master Controller in single player. I don't mean defeating him, I'm wondering if it's even possible to start the fight. I know that unlocking the different tiers of the arena requires completing more and more *different* missions. I also thought that the Alpha tier required finished 168 separate missions. (Each terminal is worth three, because gamma/beta/alpha of each mission.) And that to reach that number would require doing the Alpha difficulty of the Horde missions at least. From the little I've seen of those, I don't think the highest tier is even possible in singleplayer without cheating. And that's assuming the number doesn't also require so many that it would include the ones that are simply impossible in singleplayer, like the variations on Vs Basketball.

So... is it possible to unlock all three tiers of the Master Controller Arena in singleplayer?

Not as far as I'm aware. Used to be able to bring Gigas into the horde missions but that was patched, and now they're impossible on alpha without a big tribe backing you.
