???????????????????????????????????????????????????
why won't they fix the game lmao.
do i just run the game on epic with 30 fps?
LMAO i am lol so hard right now cause i can run every single game on ultra but they added epic on this game and my gpu from 2019 can't even run it.
why would they add more content instead of fixing the optimation of the game.
i heard the code was bad for this game but bruh, a 2020 3090 rtx can prob not run this game on epic.
But just so you understand though, your card in general falls between a 1060 and 1070 nvidia card in terms of fidelity and performance. It is -not- meant to play the game in epic settings. This would be why you suffer performance issues.
Essentially your wants do not match the reality of your rig's limitations(and that's also as long as there are no other discrepancies that steam might detect either per the info requested).
Ark is considered one of the most demanding games on rigs on the market and has been so for a few years now(articles about that even). A 1080ti has to drop at least 1 setting below epic for better performance but can play it in epic with some performance issues. 2000 series cards have to be on the upper end to be the same/better.
A 3090 can play in the top epic settings, though because Unreal Engine 4's iteration and the 3000 series being new, there can be some issues potentially(just like how the 2000 series cards had issues due to driver muck ups when they first released).
All in all though again you need to ground your expectations a bit.
side note.. just because your gpu is from 2019 doesn't mean it's gonna be able to max out every game.. there's a little more to hardware than just year of manufacture..
You run every single game und ultra with a 5500XT? That is a lie, this gpu isn't even strong. Try red dead redemption 2 or assassins Creed vallhallah, You don't get 60 fps at ultra details here, too.
Ark is not really good optimized and your gpu isn't the fastest. This two points are the problems here.
I mean, your 2019 GPU isn't faster as a gtx 1070 gpu from 2016..
There are many games out you can't play with your gpu @maximal details with 60 fps...
The Rx 5500 is destined to fight a Gtx 1650 or 1660 ... I don't know where you get that information from
Jep, and that is low tier. Mid class is something like RTX 2070 performance. High end is RTX 3080 class and enthusiast RTX 3090..
With a GTX 1070, wich is faster as a RX 5500, you get round about 65 avg FPS at high settings at full HD in ark. I can state that.
In any case, I never said otherwise, but to say that a Rx 5500 XT is at the level of a Gtx 1050 Ti is a mistake, I just said that it was closer to a Gtx 1650 or Gtx 1660 (Which is MUCH better than a Gtx 1050 Ti)
