TAB does not open Admin Command Console

I changed my hotkeys so that TAB toggled the chat on a server, and then I wanted to be able to open the Admin Console again so I unbound the key. Now whenever I press TAB, nothing happens. I tried restarting Steam, my computer, and resizing the game's window format but nothing has worked. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall my game because I do not know if my save files will be wiped or not. Any suggestions?

Rebind the admin console back to tab.

It's a bindable key in the keybind settings and the way it works is if you change one thing to a key that's already used, the place it was previously used gets set to "null". So go into your keybinds and change it back to tab.. or some other key. I changed mine to tilde.

Edit: In case you have trouble finding it, in the keybinds interface, it's in the middle column, 2 below "Map". "Toggle Console" is what it is called.

Thank you. Many posts saying change the binding... yers was the ONLY one to say WHERE the binding was.
