Giga spawn problems on Extinction - Corrupted affecting spawn weight?

Have been running a brand new Extinction server for two weeks, and while we've raced through, being already on tek gear and getting ready to breed Rexes, we've been having a lot of trouble with Gigas not spawning, or only ever spawning low level. I have the difficulty settings and everything turned up, so we're getting wild dino spawns of up to 300 - higher for the others with higher base, like tek variants - but we have not seen any gigas over level 110. Dino wiped regularly, and often run up to kill the one or two that spawn, but even the last couple of days we've had none spawn at all. A lot of corrupted, but no tameable gigas.
Are the dozens of corrupted rexes and gigas filling up the spawn weights? And if not, is there something else that might be affecting it?

There isn't that many spawns for them and it being a WC map stuff generally spawns lower level. If you don't want to "cheat" cluster the center or rag and search there or use the equalized dino level mod.
