They released one earlier, but it's possible it only patched the Gacha issue. I tested it and my Argy worked fine, but it's possible that was due to the cryo fix.
What I saw that fixes it (only temporarly though) is to exit the game and join again. I am going to try also the cryo method.
Hopfeully the fix will come soon
Still waiting for a fix, for now, a tip is dont try to pick anything up with an argen. You should be able to attack and defend with it; but as soon as you try to pick anything up it's over. This includes beak and claw grab, but it's the only workaround (if you can even call it that) I've managed to find. Picking up with a Ptera is still safe, so I imagine Quetzs and the other flyers should be alright as well.
We have to wait for a new update, which hopefully will fix this issue.
As far as other fliers are concerned, I have tested pteras and quetzals - they work normally, no issues at all.
A temporary workaround is exactly what user Ket has already suggested - as long as you don't use claw or beak grab you can normally use left-click to attack with argy. As for transporting doedi or anky to the harvesting location, if you have a quetzal available, use that for now. :)
