Large Dino bones and skeletons
Decided to try the Ragnarok world, and I found a beautiful build spot that can support a large build area. Only problem is, there's a huge dino skeleton, looks like a giant T Rex, and a couple of large dino bones laying right in the middle of it. I've only ever played on central and the vanilla islands, and have never run into those landscape features. Can the dino skeletons and large bones be harvested to get rid of them? I've tried pick and axe, neither worked. I don't know if there's a late game tool or any other means to get rid of them. Anyone have any idea?

Thanks. That really sux. The area is beautiful. The devs obviously spent time and effort to make such a beautiful and perfect spot that could support a large build structure in an excellent location and incredible views, and then they screw it all up to put an annoying feature that can't be used or harvested, and it only serves to make the whole spot useless for anything but small scattered structures.

It was a mod map... the predecessor was Valhalla map.

So... was "intended" to have its own theme.... wich got brutally scrapped when it went official dlc lol

If you know what you are doing, you could always get the dev kit and edit that stuff out yourself. It would only work for single player but you can do it.

Figures I'd find a great spot on a map abandoned by the devs. lol my luck.

Thanks. I'll take a look at that. Though with my "editing skills" I'm likely to mess up the landscape more than I improve it. But, I suppose it's worth a shot. After all, it's useless for what I want to build already, if I screw it up more I'm not losing anything I guess. lol

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a shot.

Wasnt abandoned.... the WC bought the map and hired the modders... but to be official dlc... mod maps cannot go against certain baseline criteria... so modded explorer notes/some dlc dinos etc had to go.

Say what you like about WC as developers.... they are groundbreaking in their support for modding - 4k/mnth for mods/ers in the supported mod program. 😎

Fraid not... you would need access to the core map files.

I'm guessing those aren't readily available?

Nope.

Well, I guess I could resort to surrounding the offending items with deck, and then walling them up to hide them. Though that wouldn't help in freeing up that landscape to build on. Oh well, off to look for a better place to build.

Surround it in glass and call it an exhibit! :D

I don't know how LARGE of a space you need but Ragnarok is massive and have some place with 100's of meter of free flat ground. Next to green obelisk and the desert are two very large area.
